Peace in the Shadows

By chance, my mother and I while in Beechworth took a few minutes to indulge our senses and look in the local florist. There sat one single and stunning king protea. Between my mother being a keen graphite and coloured pencil artist, and I (who uses the excuse of needing ‘reference photos’ to justify purchasing stunning florals) this beauty came home with us.
